ABOUT
Hi, I'm Oleksandra – a graphic and packaging designer with over 8 years of professional experience. My journey started at university, where I studied publishing and journalism. While learning editorial layout in InDesign, I realized that I was much more interested in visual storytelling, typography, and structure than in working with texts. Since then, I have moved into commercial design, working with branding agencies, as well as dedicated e-commerce teams.
My Experience & Approach
During my career, I have created impactful visual branding and tailored packaging solutions for recognized companies like Vostok Bank, Shell, and Meal Time. My notable projects also include packaging designs for premium skincare products and comprehensive graphic design for educational media. Seeing my packaging designs live on actual supermarket shelves is always an amazing feeling. Recently, I spent time working within an Amazon agency. Collaborating closely with PPC experts and copywriters taught me to look at design from a marketing perspective. I believe that a good result requires research, so I always analyze top competitors before starting. I also prepare multiple design variations so marketing teams can easily run A/B testing and choose what works best.
My Mindset & Teamwork
I understand that clients know their products from a business side, and I respect that. When it comes to feedback, I focus on open communication. If a team wants to try a specific idea – even a simple "make logo larger" – I will do it, but I will always create an alternative version based on my design experience to give them a clear choice. I want to build long-term partnerships based on good results and trust.
Beyond Design
Currently based in Spain, I love exploring new cultures and languages – I speak Ukrainian, English, and am actively improving my Spanish. Outside of design, you can find me managing a social media page for my dog, where I love experimenting with platform algorithms and connecting with fellow pet-niche creators.
